istrict Fall Round-Up
has been scheduled
this year for Monday,
October 24, at Miss
Scarlett's
in
Gilbertsville (located at Exit 31 on
I-24). Registration is scheduled
for 9:30 a.m. with the meeting to
begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Following the business
meeting, a delicious luncheon buf-
fet will be served at a cost of
approximately $10.00 per person,
tax and tip included. Door prizes
will again be awarded.
All Chapter 1373 members
are encouraged to attend. For
those members wishing to car-
pool, we will meet at the Marion
Baptist Church Life Center park-
ing lot at 9:00 a.m.

Alzheimer's Fund
Members
of
Chapter
1373
manned a booth at this year's
Crittenden
Health
Systems'
Health Fair on June 17. A total
of $57.90 was collected for the
Alzheimer's Fund. This was the
Chapter's third donation to the
Alzheimer's Fund this year.
Chapter Meeting
The next Chapter 1373 meeting
is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on
Wednesday, November 16, at
The Marion Cafe in Marion.
All members are invited
to attend and enjoy the meeting
and fellowship. Annual elec-
tions will be held. Please en-
courage potential members to
attend our monthly meetings
and to join the NARFE family.
Hurricane Season
Please remember all NARFE
chapters and members in
Region III (Alabama, Florida,
Mississippi, South Carolina),
Region VI (Louisiana, Texas) ,
and Region X (North Carolina)
during this 2005 hurricane sea-
son. Our heartfelt sympathies
go out to all who were affected.
